Sri Bhakata Anjaneya Swami Temple is located in Ethamukkala, Prakasam District, 16 kilometers from Ongole, 1 kilometer from Sea. Sri Anjaneya Swamy is also known as Hanuman, an ardent devotee of Lord Rama. Anjaneya Swamy is believed to be vanara, participated in Rama’s war against the demon king Ravana. Thousands of devotees visit this temple during the festival of Hanuman Jayanthi. Hanuman Jayanthi, traditional festival is celebrated to commemorate the birth of Sri Anjaneya Swamy. There is a common belief in the devotees that Sri Anjaneya Swamy is an incarnation of Lord Shiva.
